The open world of the VARGATES Framework is a world in which the player is free to explore and free to accomplish their goals within it. The gamedesign of applications created on a free-range framework does not contain the so-called "invisible walls" that are common in linear level and scenario design. In general, the VARGATES Framework open-world modules remove a significant number of constraints in the game environment caused by technical limitations or constraints following from the general linearity of user scenarios. The main feature of the VARGATES Framework's open-world gameplay is that such gameplay creates a simulation of reality and allows the user to develop the character and its behavior in a self-selected direction. VARGATES role-playing system - a set of rules in role-playing scenarios responsible for the abilities of characters and the outcome of a particular action. In game and training scenarios of VARGATES applications, the user does not act independently, but plays the role of a fictional character, controlling its actions, so the character may have abilities and capabilities that the person playing the character does not have. Its capabilities are determined by a set of characteristics that the user usually chooses himself when creating a character (specialty, grade, skills). In this way, the role-playing system becomes a substitute for personal experience - by increasing the levels of your character, the user also increases personal experience. By completing various tasks, the user receives rewards and generates his in-game statistics, which shows the degree of his involvement in the learning process and the level of accumulated competencies. Procedural generation of VARGATES - the ability to automatically create learning and gaming content using algorithms. VARGATES procedural generation modules are software that can create content independently, or collaboratively when working with methodologists or game designers. Content refers to the creation of application scenarios and levels, interaction rules, textures, stories, items, quests, tools, characters, etc. The purpose of using procedural generation is to create educational and game content without (or with minimal) human participation, generate modes of application operation, adapt scenarios to the user on the fly, improve and enrich the content with the help of algorithmic solutions. All content created in the framework using cloud technologies automatically becomes available for all types of devices: computers, smartphones, tablets, VR The functionality of the applications is formed by individual modules. By combining modules in a certain sequence it is possible to obtain applications with new characteristics. Each module operates independently of the others and performs its own unique functions. Core, module and content development are separated - this significantly improves security and control over system creation.
