ROQED Mechanicum — 3D maintenance and repair training for heavy industry

What it is
ROQED Mechanicum is ROQED's industrial training platform. Equipment is rebuilt as photorealistic 3D models, and a trainee opens it the way a maintenance crew would: part by part, in the order the instruction gives.
The point is the machine the plant cannot stop. The model can be taken apart as often as training needs, on a screen or in a VR headset, while the real unit keeps working.

How a course is built
Scenario-based courses
A course is built from the plant's own maintenance, repair or HSE instructions, with tasks allocated and filtered by job and specialty.
Specialists on every process
A specialist or a technology group is assigned to each maintenance, repair or inspection process, so the trainee works through it the way the crew does.
Tools that turn a course into a simulation
Add the tools the job needs and the course stops being a walkthrough: the trainee performs the maintenance or repair steps with them.
10+ virtual locations
Any of the virtual locations can carry the customer's logo and company name.
Categories and filters
The library is organised by categories and filters, which are set to the customer's own equipment and structure.
Users and access
The customer decides how many users there are and what each one can see and do.
Where it runs
The same courses run on PC, mobile, VR headset and industrial panels: in a classroom, on the shop floor or in a headset.
ROQED Mechanicum can be integrated with the customer's existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) or learning management system (LMS).
